Aimee Anne Hardesty

On Saturday, March 25, 2017 a beautiful angel left this world. Aimee Hardesty was born in Butte, Montana on April 23, 1983. She was wonderful, intelligent and hilarious, with a smile that made her the brightest person in the room. She was raised by Nancy Linton and Lane Miller alongside her sisters Jessica, Cammie and Casadie, as well as her brother Dalton Miller. Aimee was a one-of-a-kind Butte girl. Despite difficulties and setbacks, Aimee lived an amazing life. She had countless friends who remember her for her kindness. No matter the battle she faced, she never complained. Her friends found her to be fierce, loyal and loving. Many looked up to her, for she was an indestructible force, a warrior who cared constantly for others. She was courageous, taking down people who would prey upon those weaker than them. She was diligent with friendships and loved ones. She guided people through their worst days and celebrated with them in their triumphs. Aimee had a heart no other human could hold a flame to. She could lift a friend up with just a few words and the strength of her beautiful soul gave many hope. She was able to connect with anyone, instinctually know what others needed and reassured them. She never judged, but encouraged. She was happiest when she was helping others, using her gifts of compassion and encouragement. Gandhi once said that strength does not come from physical capacity but from an indomitable will. Aimee made strong look invincible. She made the trials of life look like a pair of wings. While we mourn her passing, we find comfort that she has shaken off the dust of this world to finally fly free. Aimee's light and faith were much brighter than any darkness around her. We are so proud of the person Aimee became. She will live forever in the hearts and memories of all who knew her. We look forward to her watching over all of us in Heaven, as she did in life. To say she will be missed is an understatement. Aimee loved her family and her dog Mallorey. She is survived by the love of her life, Marvin Rubusch; her mother, Nancy Linton; Lane Miller; her siblings, Jessica Hardesty (Nerissa and Gabbie), Cammie Hardesty and Barry Mitchell (Aliya and Tyson), Casadie and Dalton Miller; her grandmother, Mildred Linton; her aunts and uncles, Cindy and Bill Hanley, Tom Linton, Marilyn Linton; her cousins and their children, Brianna and David Lindberg (Graysen, Ava-Monroe and Atticus), Trista Kremer and Stephanie Cunningham (Lincoln), Kaylee and Jed Johnson (Jaycee, Kolton, Kingston), Crystal Linton and Echo Linton (Kaelyssa Rae). She was welcomed into Heaven by her uncle, Allan Wayne Linton, her great-aunt, Marg Ryan and her super hero, her grandfather, Allan Linton with open arms as papa would say, "Let's hear it!"
