ANGELA MARIE CHAPMAN-MARTIN April 25, 1964 – October 11, 2025 Angela “Angie” Marie Chapman Martin, 61, of Butte, Montana, passed away surrounded by her loved ones. Angie was born on April 25, 1964, in Butte to Hank and Nadine Chapman. She was the third of five children, right in the middle, the only girl, and she made sure to never let those brothers get too far ahead of her. Angie attended McKinley Elementary and East Junior High before graduating from Butte High School in 1983. In 1987, she completed cosmetology school and went on to cut hair for countless family members and friends; often for free, simply because she loved to help others feel good. On February 2, 1987, Angie married the love of her life, Ron Martin. Together they built a beautiful family, raising two children, Eric and Keturah. Angie also opened her arms and heart to Ron’s three children from his previous marriage: Amanda, Angela, and Cory, embracing them fully as her own. For 27 years, Angie worked at the MDC, where her compassion and dedication touched the lives of many. She was deeply passionate about her work and cared for her patients as though they were family. Angie had a heart that knew no limits. She never met a stranger, always welcomed others into her home, and offered a listening ear to anyone who needed one. Her door was always open, her table always full, and her love unconditional. No one ever went hungry on the holidays, if you didn’t have somewhere to go, Angie made sure you did. Known for her warmth, humor, and mischievous streak, Angie loved to cook, laugh, and play practical jokes. She was the glue that held her family together and the safe place everyone could count on. Angie is survived by her devoted husband of 37 years, Ron; children Eric Martin of Billings, Montana, Keturah (Joe) of Butte, and stepchildren Angela, Amanda, and Cory, all of Butte; and grandchildren Heaven, Jacob, Haley, Daymyn, Nevaeh, Kaylyn, Vivian, Riley, and Madison. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Shea, Kabri, Steven, Cooper, Maximus, Emrey, and Ryan. She is also survived by her brothers Henry Chapman of Billings, Alvy “Mincha” Chapman of Boulder, Gene Chapman of Butte, and sister-in-law Gwen Chapman of Florida. Angie was preceded in death by her parents, Hank and Nadine Chapman; her brother, Eddy Chapman; and both sets of grandparents. Angie’s kindness, laughter, and love will forever live in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy is one of generosity, humor, and unwavering love; a reminder to open our homes, our hearts, and to never let anyone feel alone.
