Leamon Donald "Donni" Lummas

OBITUARY MATERIAL FOR LEAMON DONAL LUMMUS It is with great sadness that the family of Leamon Donald Lummus, affectionately known as “Donni,” announces his passing. He left us on November 24th, 2024, at the age of 56. Donni was born on June 6th, 1968, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Edward Donald Lummus and Sadie May Baker. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sadie May Baker, his brother, Timothy Edward Lummus (“Timmy”), and his grandchild Bentley Angulo. Donni grew up in Logansport, Louisiana, where he attended Logansport High School. In 1990, he made the move to Montana, where he would meet Michelle Campbell. Donni had a deep love for the outdoors, spending his time fishing, camping, bowling, and enjoying the beauty of nature. However, his greatest joy in life was his family. Donni cherished every moment he spent with his children and grandchildren, often playing with them, taking them to the park, and enjoying four-wheeler rides together. He was a loving father to his son William Scott Campbell and his four daughters: Heather Nicole Billson, Jatanna Lynn Lummus, Stephanie Ann Belli, and Rachel Dawn Lummus. Donni worked for over 20 years at Barbes Tree and Lawn Service, where he obtained his CDL, and later at Ranchland. Most recently, he was employed at KB Enterprises with his favorite adopted son Austin. He was a hardworking man who took pride in everything he did. He was known for his love of football, particularly his devotion to the Dallas Cowboys. Donni also had a passion for collecting knives, working on his four-wheelers, and listening to his favorite rock music, including CCR, Ozzy, and ACDC. His favorite restaurant was Copper City, where he loved to enjoy a good meal. Donni will be buried by his mother in Adam's Cemetery in Carthage, Texas, where he will rest in peace. He is survived by his children, William Scott Campbell, Heather Nicole Billson, Jatanna Lynn Lummus, Stephanie Ann Belli, and Racheal Dawn Lummus; as well as his grandchildren Joey, Bryson, Kinsley, Maci, Nathan, Hayley, Aubrey, Aleigha, Bladen, Keagon, Sadie, Liam, Graclynn, and many other beloved family members and friends who will forever remember his kind heart and warm spirit. Donni’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be greatly missed.
