LeAnne Lynn Steilman

LeAnne Lynn Steilman, 74, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. LeAnne was born on April 10, 1952, in Morris, Minnesota. As a small child, she moved with her family to Butte, Montana, where she would spend the rest of her life and build the family she cherished so deeply. While attending high school in Butte, LeAnne met the love of her life, Pete. Their high school romance blossomed into a lifelong marriage filled with love, devotion, and countless memories. Together they built a home centered on family, hard work, and caring for those they loved. LeAnne’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents Randy and Dorothy Gronvold. She is survived by her husband, Pete; her sons, Pete (Eileen) Steilman and Lance (Nicole) Steilman; grandchildren Jacob (Olivia), Nathan (Clare), Nick (Mayah), Sadie, Gage, and Trapper; great-granddaughter Lillian; and an eagerly anticipated great-grandson expected later this year. She is also survived by brothers Wayne (Janette) and Doug, and countless nieces and nephews and cousins. Anyone who knew LeAnne knew of her love for flowers. She found joy in watching them grow and bloom, and her flowers reflected the care and attention she gave to everything she loved. Her gentle spirit, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to her family touched countless lives. LeAnne was the heart of many family gatherings and celebrations. She took pride in the accomplishments of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with those she loved. Her family was her greatest accomplishment and her most treasured gift. Though her family grieves her passing, they find comfort in the memories she leaves behind – the laughter shared, the lessons taught, the love given so freely, and the example she set each day. Her legacy lives on through the generations she helped shape and the lives she touched with her kindness. LeAnne’s life was a blessing, her love was a gift, and her memory will be treasured forever. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
