Peggy Churchill Ogan

Peggy Churchill Ogan 10.3.58 – 5.17.24 Peggy Churchill Ogan, born the third child of Neil and Grace Churchill in Butte, MT on October 3, 1958. She passed away with family on May 17, 2024, and went to be with her Lord Jesus in Heaven. She grew up determined, independent, strong-willed, and sometimes stubborn, climbing trees at 3 and 4 yrs. old. The family moved to Whitehall, MT when she was 5 years old. Peggy applied these strong and wonderful characteristics to everything that came her way in life. Peggy joined the Rainbow Girls and finally served as Worthy Advisor. While in High School she took a trip to Mexico. Peggy worked for her dad in his construction office and later used all she learned with her dad to design the remodel with her husband Dave for the current Ogan Head Quarters in Butte. Peggy’s strong, be-tough characteristics brought her through a tragic accident and many long surgery recoveries. During that time, she met the love of her life and best friend, David Ogan, together on their life adventure for over forty years of marriage. They moved to Butte and raised 4 boys and a girl, all grew into loving and successful adults. Peggy helped raise more than just her children, Peggy and Dave were thought of by many as their second parents. The Ogan house was always the safe place to be for anyone that needed it. The only rule of the house was always “Don’t piss off The Mom!”. She owned and operated a licensed childcare center, was a Real Estate Professional, and later managed Uno’s Lounge for many years. Peggy and Dave both retired, enjoying each other as well as: NASCAR Racing, football, fight nights, card games, family game nights, family camping trips, gardening and remodeling the Ogan family HQ. Peggy was a very loved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, in-law, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her father, Neil Churchill; her adopted brother, Donny Antikinen; her mother, Grace Churchill, and her husband and best friend, David Ogan. She is survived by 5 siblings: Jan Churchill, Bill Churchill (Claire), Roger Churchill (Jeanette), Jeff Churchill (Kim), and Carol Churchill-Dicks (Jim). Her children: Rick Ogan, Wes Ogan, Travis Ogan, (Amy), Megan Ogan (Mike Lee), Cordel Ogan. She had 4 grandchildren: Brendon Roat, Molly Ogan, Emily Ogan, and Kendle Ogan. She had many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Her favorite color was any color of blue and we will all be shades of blue missing her. There will be services held 5/23/24 at Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. A private burial at the South Boulder Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband Dave. There will be a public gathering at Uno’s Lounge the evening of 5.23.24. Flowers can be sent to the funeral home or the Ogan house. Instead of flowers, donations can also be made to the Fisher House Foundation in her name.
