Virginia Lee Dobb

Virginia Lee Dobb passed away peacefully at her home on April 10, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born second child of seven to Edgar Dobb Jr/Sr and Elizabeth Dobb in Hobbs, New Mexico. Her family moved to Butte, Montana when she was 1 year old. She attended public schools in Butte and graduated from Butte High School in 1963. At an early age, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ as her savior. Throughout her life, she regularly attended church where she served faithfully to the Lord as a lead singer during church service. She did other various duties during her time at the Jefferson Valley Baptist Church in Whitehall, MT. While in Whitehall, she worked at the A &W Restaurant for several years. Virginia went onto achieving her life dream of helping people and becoming a nurse. She graduated from MT Tech with an LPN Degree in 1998. She went onto proudly working at the Butte Convalescent Center for 22yrs, helping all that were in need of her loving care. Virginia did many things in life including helping/working along side her lifetime friend, Dave Brown (of Whitehall) with dairy farming, repairing shoes at Dave's Shoe Repair, and other various hobbies which included: attending to her two horses, dancing, fishing, and traveling with her sister Carol. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Joan Brickles, and sister-in-law Jackie Dobb. She is survived by her sister, Carol McMillen, Brother, Jeffery Dobb Sr., wife Caroline, Brother, Patrick Dobb, Brother, David Dobb, Brother, Edgar Dobb Jr. (Sonny) wife, Roberta, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her Beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her three daughters: Annie Elizabeth Dobb, Paula Lee and Shawna Nickol Robinson. She has six wonderful grandchildren and blessed with four beautiful great grandchildren. Our Beautiful Angel on Earth has found her wings. Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, April 16th at 11 AM in Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Pastor Seth Leypoldt officiating. Her family will receive friends beginning at 10 o’clock. In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider donating to Chelsea Bailey Animal Shelter or Charity of your choice in Virginia's name. A heartfelt thank you to the Honey Bee Staff and to everyone who aided in her care, especially in her last days.
