Betty Mae Renouard Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Betty Mae Renouard passed away Monday, May 24, 2021 at St. James Healthcare. She was born in Missoula, Friday, November 9, 1934 to Harry and Alice (Pinkerton) Lee. At the age of seven, she along with her twin brother LeRoy and their parents survived a home explosion when a gas leak caused an explosion that destroyed their home. Betty attended Butte schools, graduated from Butte High School and attended the Butte Business College. She married James Robert Renouard on June 3, 1961 in St. Patrick’s Church and he passed away December 7, 2000. Betty worked as a bookkeeper for Safeway for many years and was a volunteer with Our Lady of the Rockies from its inception. She was a longtime member of St. Ann’s Catholic Community and belonged to the Red Hat Society. Betty is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Michael Jewell of Billings, daughter, Teresa Renouard of Butte, son, James Renouard of Jacksonville, Florida, grandchildren, Christina, Andrew and Michael Jewell, May and Jackielyn Santos and her twin-brother and his wife, LeRoy and Pat Lee of Butte. Cremation has taken place. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 2nd at 11 o’clock in St. Ann Catholic Church. Her family will receive friends beginning at 10 o’clock. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Rockies.
