Minnie Hazel Ralph

Minnie Hazel Petroni Ralph passed away quietly Tuesday morning, February 25, 2020 at her daughter Francine’s home I Butte where she has lived for the past 14 years. She was born in Butte on Friday, October 3, 1930 to Giulio and Victoria (Quilici) Petroni. She attended Butte schools and on August 9, 1953 she and Francis E. “Frank” Ralph were united in marriage in St. Helena’s Catholic Church in Meaderville. Together they had six children and raised them in the family home in the “Drives” just west of St. Ann Catholic Church where Minnie was a parishioner for many years. She earned her degree in Early Childhood Development at Montana Tech and served as a Head Start Teacher for several years. She was also a longtime volunteer at Our Lady of the Rockies. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank who passed away in 2007 and her brother and sister-in-law, Angelo and Virginia Petroni and her son-in-law, Brooks Coombe. She is survived by her children: Vicki and Jim Everrett of Orofino, Idaho, Francine Coombe of Butte, Carol and Allan Christensen of Idaho Falls, John and Rosemarie Ralph of Butte, Joe Ralph of Anchorage, Alaska and Tony Ralph of Anaconda. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Memorials in memory of Minnie may be made to Our Lady of the Rockies.
