Philip R. Dallas Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Phil was born in Butte on January 31, 1933 to Ted and Nancy Reynolds Dallas. He passed on May 23, 2022, and was preceded in death by son Rene, mother, father and siblings Mike, Johnny, & Carl Ann. He had his first job selling papers on Broadway & Main Street when he was 5 years old. He had numerous occupations until a great lady, June Johnson, took him under her wing. He found his niche working at Trevillion Johnson Memorial for 35 years. He retired from TJM Jan. 1990 & enjoyed 32 years thanks to Teamster retirement. He found a family who nurtured him when he married LaVaun Isola 68 years ago. His father-in-law, Guy was the father figure he never had, he and Kathleen were like parents. Born a people person, Phil had an endless list of friends. He never met a stranger, because he genuinely enjoyed people and embraced everyone. He was always available to help anyone in need and that kept him busy and engaged. He is survived by his wife LaVaun, Son Philip, grandson Rene, in laws LaVerne Horne, Lloyd Isola, & several nieces and nephews. Phil’s remains are in Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home where friends may call Friday afternoon at 1 o’clock. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock with Deacon John Uggetti officiating. Entombment will follow in the family mausoleum in Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Rockies. "Thanks for the ride!”
