Rita Marie Redfern Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Rita Redfern passed away July 1, 2015 in Kelly, Idaho. She was born April 4, 1927 to Sabina & Dennis (Gerolami) Ambrosetti in Butte, Montana. Rita attended Butte elementary schools & graduated from Butte High School in May 1945. She also took some special business classes at the Butte Business College. She married her childhood sweetheart Ray Redfern on May 18, 1946. She worked at the Montana & Rialto theaters during high school. After her graduation Rita worked in the office at the Butte Produce Co.; she also worked as a price Clerk at M&L Supply Co. for over 24 years and later retired from the Montana Hospital administration office accounting Dept. at Warm Springs. Rita liked to crochet, knit, golf, camping, golfing & travel spending 13 winters in ST. George, Utah participating in many activities there. She was a devoted wife and mother to her family. Her beloved husband Ray Redfern passed away in October of 2009 after their marriage of over 65 years. Rita is also preceded in death by her parents; her sister Madeline Casagranda; brothers: John & Michael Ambrosetti; sisters-in-law Jo Redfern; Arlette Redfern; Phyllis & Ralph Redfern; Maryellen Redfern; Fran Redfern & Phil & Bunny Redfern. Surviving Rita are her two sons and daughters-in-law: Dennis & Ingrid Redfern of Salisbury, NC and Michael & Nadine of Kellogg, Idaho. Rita is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and devoted friends Mickey & Mike Boysza of Butte. Also by numerous nieces and nephews, especially Lois & Bob Fischer. Cremation has taken place and arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wayrynen~Richards funeral home. A Memorial Mass will be conducted at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on August 14th, 2015 at 10:00 with Fr. Patrick Brretta presiding. Committal will follow at Mount Moriah Columbarium with a reception after at the home of Mickey & Mike Boysza, (2540 South Montana ) across from the cemetery.
