Sharon Lynn Valdez Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Sharon Lynn Valdez passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022 at her home in Butte with her husband, Bill and son Brian at her side. Sharon was born in Los Angeles, California Tuesday, July 2, 1957 to Darrell and Andrey (Goightly) Tuggle. Her father served in the United State Air Force, and Sharon was privileged to attended schools in many different places. She moved to Butte from Oregon about 30 years ago, leaving behind her favorite job, working as a beekeeper. In Butte, Sharon worked as a clerk at Safeway and Kmart. She and William Valdez were united in marriage in Butte on March 31, 2012, and together spent many happy years camping and fishing. Sharon had a deep love and appreciation for all animals. She especially loved sitting in her back yard around the fire pit watching Bill work on his projects. Sharon’s deep soul, beautiful smile along with her loving caring heart was a joy to witness. She is survived by her husband, Bill Valdez of Butte, sons: Jason and Laura Robertson of Kalispell, Montana and Brian Valdez of Butte, grandchildren: Annisa, Brendon, Mitchell and Taylor Renee Robertson. Also surviving are one great-grandchild, Stella and her cousin, Robin Harris of Brookings, Oregon. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be conducted in the Big Hole Valley at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Senior Solutions Hospice Team and her caretakers Julie, Jorden and Deacon Dan McGrath.
