Tammy Sue Crawford

Tammy Sue Crawford (October 4, 1968 - April 7, 2024) Tammy Sue Crawford, age 55, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ just before midnight on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at her home in Waterloo, Montana. Tammy was surrounded by her loving family during the last few days of her very difficult battle with cancer. Tammy was born October 4, 1968 to Clarence and Sue Shormann. She grew up in a loving family in Ohio where she enjoyed and excelled in school, twirling baton, and playing trumpet in band. She attended church regularly where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age. She married her high school sweetheart, Matthew “Matt” Crawford, in May 1988, and shortly thereafter moved to Montana where they had two children, Scott and Constance. Tammy was an amazing, beloved, and Godly wife, a loving mother, wonderful homemaker, and devoted follower of Jesus Christ. She homeschooled her children and worked with the local AWANA club while her children attended. Tammy was an active church member who avidly studied the word of God and lead women’s Bible studies. She enjoyed time with family, playing games, hiking, camping, snowmobiling, kayaking, and four-wheeling, along with other activities in God’s creation. After the children were grown, she began focusing on her artistic talent and became a very passionate artist. She loved working with watercolor, alcohol ink, and pastels. Tammy’s artwork won various awards, earning recognition in various art groups/communities. She eventually created tutorials for the very website that taught her. In the time Tammy spent studying God’s word she continually focused on faithfulness, hope, love, truth and repentance. She was gifted at teaching the word of God along with other things that brought her joy. Tammy was a joyful, strong, confident, quiet, humble woman whose radiant smile would warm a person’s heart without speaking a word. Isaiah 43:1b “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!” 1Corinthians 13:13 But now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. Revelation 22:3 “He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall no longer be any death; there shall no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” Proverbs 31:25-30 Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she smiles at the future. She opens her mouth in wisdom, and the teachings of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and bless her; her husband also, and he praises her, saying: “Many daughters have done nobly, but you excel them all.” Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. Tammy is proceeded in death by her father, Clarence Shormann. She is survived by her husband, Matt; son, Scott (Rebecca) Crawford; daughter, Constance Crawford; Mother, Sue Shormann; sister, Diane (Ben) Williams; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Mark (Anni) Crawford, Kevin Crawford, Gwen (Chuck) Ketchum, Curt (Cheri) Crawford; and nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 2:00PM at Mountain View Chapel 515 N Main St, Twin Bridges, MT 59754 with fellowship immediately following.
