Toni Leona Aguilar-Peters

June 18, 1954 - June 20, 2017

Toni L. Aguilar-Peters passed away Tuesday morning at St. James Healthcare following a long illness. She was born in Butte June 18, 1954 to Dan and Rita (Vallolid) Aguilar and attended local schools including Butte High School and the Butte Academy of Beauty Culture. Toni loved being a homemaker and was an excellent cook. She loved family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren. She was accomplished at crocheting and beading. Toni is preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Rita Aguilar. Survivors include her three daughters, Rita Aguilar, Shayla Peters and Dani Peters and her son, Dane Peters, all of Butte, her grandchildren, Jaicob Nadeau, Dreonna Clark, Myckenna Clark Jodi Weaselboy, Halo Weaselboy, Avery Peters, Xavior Ker and Dane Wezley Anderson. Also surviving are her brother, Rick Aguilar of Bellflower, CA, her sisters and brothers-in-law, Victoria Aguilar of Butte, Debbie and Ed Newgard of Butte, Diane “DeeDee” Aguilar of Arlee and Dana and Wayne Parr of Butte and several nieces and nephews including Marcy, Deeny, Brad, Cherese, Dee Ann and Justin in California and D.J. Newgard , Preston Newgard, Devi Cole, Shanna Hockaday, Debra Parr Calli Parr and several great nieces and great nephews. A private memorial service will be conducted in Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home and a celebration of her life will coincide with the family reunion on the 4th of July.
