Samuel Jon Mishler

Samuel Jon Mishler was born September 30, 2002 in Great Falls, Montana and passed away April 27, 2023 at his home in Butte, Montana. Beloved son and brother, he is survived by his mother, Karen Mishler, father Timothy Mishler, brothers Ethan Mishler and William Mishler, grandfather Thomas Johnson, grandmother and grandfather Elaine and William Mishler, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Reiko Johnson. Samuel grew up in the small town of Fort Shaw, Montana and enjoyed playing outdoors, riding bikes and being involved in various boy shenanigans with his brothers. He also loved to play video games and loved to watch movies. He was very involved in high school activities and participated in football, wrestling and rugby. He was also a member of the National Honor Society and excelled at all his high school subjects. After graduation, Samuel moved to Butte to live with his brother, Ethan and spent two years embracing everything Butte had to offer. He befriended anyone he met from the neighbor across the street to people he met randomly at the gas station. Besides being close to his family, he was devoted to his friends and spending time with them was one of his favorite activities. He loved his friends dearly and trusted them deeply. Sam was a very loyal person. If he chose to love you, then he loved you forever. Although Sam was strong and tough on the outside, inside he was caring, tender and sensitive. He would make you work to see his softer side though. Who was Sam deep down? He was a 20-year-old kid that loved metal music as well as being a big fan of Frank Sinatra. Some might say he had eclectic tastes. He could play the piano and could also fight with about anyone who wanted the smoke. Not a single employer he had could call him lazy or a slacker and when he worked, he worked hard, which made him the favorite at many of the jobs he held. Sam had many different sides and everyone knew a different version of Samuel. We love you Sam and you will be forever missed by all those who knew you. Services will be held at the Fort Shaw Bible Church, on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 at 11:00 with a reception following.
